Making time for postpartum care is difficult to fit in as you adjust to life with your newborn. Taking an hour or two for yourself to allow healing will benefit your entire family! Schedule in comfort of your own home or come to me! Family sessions are available for in home including baby! Bodywork sessions are available as soon as you feel ready or when your care provider has cleared you for massage. Sessions target your healing & recovery during the fourth trimester. Positioning bolsters are available for comfort, including breast pillow and your session will be modified to suit your postnatal needs. This time is crucial for healing & self-care before things settle into your tissues, whether you experienced birth trauma, loss or just feeling overwhelmed with your new family life, body work is an essential part of postnatal recovery.
For a gentler approach to postpartum recovery try my Ayurvedic Abhyanga massage. This session provides a holistic approach to massage with focus on relieving physical & emotional stress from the body. Session uses gentle strokes, traction, focused on muscle & joints, lymphatic drainage, energy work, sound healing & warm oil is used.

A longer session is recommended for multiple requests. If you are requesting lactation or abdominal massage, you must select a session longer than 60 min.
For C-section, abdominal work may be done after 6 weeks postpartum.
Positioning & modifications can be made to suit your needs. Breast pillow, side lying or face down bolstering available for comfort. Please indicate in notes which bolstering you may need for your comfort during session.
60 min session may not include multiple concerns, abdominal massage or lactation massage as additional time is necessary.

As a trained postnatal doula, I offer postnatal support to help you during this time of recovery & transition. Some things I can assist you with is supporting you in self care, checking on your well-being, providing nurturing care to comfort and relax you, family transition, family bonding, breast feeding support and guiding you in establishing routines that work for your family. I can also assist you with adjusting to newborn care, newborn care while you rest, resources, processing your birthing experience, light newborn related household tasks and preparing nutritious meals.
Pair your at home postnatal massage with a postnatal wellness support session to support your recovery. Postnatal wellness support can be scheduled hourly with a 2 hour minimum.
